| Match Report: |
A dominant batting display from County Hall II's provided an easy victory against mid table Langleybury III's.
Asked to bat first on a baking hot day, County Hall knew that they had to use all their overs and post a big score on a small fast outfield.
Having lost the openers early on Wayne Langton (86) and Will Archer (38) set about constructing a useful 100 partnership in just under 20 overs. Matt Barnaby (40) Rob Mitchell (26), Nick Marsh (35) and Gavin Barnaby (29) all chipped in with useful quick runs hitting 11 sixes between them.
County Hall posting a challenging total of 292 for 9.
In reply Langleybury started brightly as County Hall opted to open with two spinners to keep the runs flowing and tempt the batsmen in to aerial shots Maslanka getting the early breakthrough. McLachlan (56) racing to his 50 with some expansive hitting.
Man of the Match Langton (6 for 72)proved to be as useful with the ball as he was with the bat, nibbling away at the Langleybury batting order and in combination with the pace and swing of Williamson (2 for 29), ripped the heart out of Langleybury.
Langton mopped up the tail in short order with only Kelly (39) offering any resistance, dismissing Langleybury for 171 off 29.5 overs.
