| Match Report: |
Aided by a lightning quick outfield at Leahoe, County Hall racked up their highest League total against Rickmansworth with Andy Bartlett and Andrew Szemiako both scoring unbeaten centuries.
The home side had got off to a solid start, with Bartlett and John Schlaepfer putting on 41 for the 1st wicket and Bartlett and Adrian Devine putting on 53 for the 2nd. But it was an unbeaten partnership of 210 between Bartlett and Szemiako that took the game away from Rickmansworth.
At one point Bartlett was actually outscoring the big man before slowing down on reaching his ton. Szemiako's century, his second of the season, was characteristically full of big hitting and enabled County Hall to declare their innings on 304-2 from 47 overs.
Rickmansworth in reply, also scored runs quickly, but County Hall were able to take wickets at regular intervals and so take an unlikely Rickmansworth victory out of the equation. Some big hitting from Naghman Latif at the end saw the visitors past 200, but County Hall were able to wrap up a 96 run victory with over 16 overs to spare.
