| Match Report: |
County Hall let slip valuable points in drawing their latest Division 3 match against Totteridge Millhillians IIs on saturday.
On winning the toss County Hall decided to bat first on a true looking wicket and made steady progress. The innings was based around a stand of 110 in 22 overs between John Schlaepfer(59) and Andy Szemiako (56). Late acceleration saw the home team post an above par score of 248-7 off 53 overs on a pitch taking some spin.
Skipper Chris Graves made the decision to start with the old ball and this was quickly justified with two early wickets. However seven catches were dropped in the first 14 overs of the Totteridge innings, none of which were particularly difficult. These errors were to prove crucial as County Hall were unable to press home their advantage, despite Mark Batchelor continuing his fine form with three cheap wickets.
M.O.M. John Schlaepfer
Run Out Andy Szemiako
